Hello Band World! I need your help!

Hello Band World,

I really deperately need your help. I haven't been on blog land for a little while because for some reason that I couldnt describe until right now I just couldn't do it. I am going to make a list of all the things that are in my head right now. Because I cannot write a structured text at all.
1. I need to get back on track with weight loss. I didnt lose any weight for a while, I couldn't physically eat the right food. My band was too tight and I had to get an unfill. I am fine with that but after being sick almost everytime I have eaten something for over a month I am scared of eating so many kind of food. which are the good ones for me.

2. I am starting to exercise more regularly which will help I am sure once I get the diet back on track properly. I am going swimming with my husband which I really enjoy.

3. The reason why I had a hard time coming back here is that I see you all getting skinny and I am not compared to you. And I am so happy for you but it is very difficult because I know why I am not losing weight as much as I should and it means having to face those issues.
4. I have been diagnosed with PCOS, which is something I had been dreading as I can't imagine my life without children and now being told the only way for me to get pregnant is with fertility treatment and it is going to be veru difficult. I have been referred to a fertility clinic so waiting to get a date for my first appointment.
5. I need your help because I feel down. I need your help to get back on track. I need your help because you've always motivated me. I need your help because you know what I am going through.

6. I was not asking for your help before because I didn't want to face my problems. because you would have told me things i didnt want to hear (the truth) .

I am going to add a few pictures of the wedding as my motivation to a new start of healthiness. It was the best day of my life and my husband is the most supportive and loving person in the world, he is trying so hard to help me with everything but there is times like now when he doesn't have all the answers to help me and that's why I turn to you my banded friends because I am sure you will find the words to get me back on track.

  1. Firstly, congratulations, your look stunning on your wedding photo's.

I'm really sorry that you are feeling so down about everything, I'm not an expert by any means and I'm still struggling along.

No one here will judge you, we've all felt the same way as you, I should think that having had the wedding to aim towards afterwards you want to just relax a bit, its completely understandable.

Do you feel that your band is at the right level? Do you need more removed or a little fill?

As far as food goes I really try to make sure I get enough protein, not sure that this is the healthiest way to eat but this is what I do.

This is just a blip, you'll be fine, be kind to yourself.

  2. Julie!!! I have missed you so. Your wedding pictures are beautiful, you are beautiful!

I really know how you feel. I had my surgery over a year ago and have not lost a 1/4 of what some of these other ladies have lost. I have felt down and still do. But it will get better, I promise. Everyone goes through these hard times and the important thing is you are getting back on track. Everyone loses weight at different rates and different ways. You are doing great!!!

  3. Julie I am so glad you are back! Please don't leave us again :)

First off, your wedding pictures are so beautiful! I absolutely LOVE your dress!!

Secondly, you have identified what you need to do to get back on track, so no worries. It is ok to have bumps in the road. Start easing into the routine again and try to enjoy it so you can keep it up. Things will get better! This isn't a race, so you can take as long as you need to to get to the finish line.

If you need encouragement or suggestions, you know where to come! Get everything out in your blog and let all these wonderful people help you out! We want you to succeed just as much as you do. I am thinking about you and wishing you the best!

  7. Julie! I'm so glad to see you back. I, too, have been delinquent in the blogs & I think that's a direct reflection on how I was feeling & progressing with my weight loss, which also stalled. I'm back here now (after BOOBs) & getting back on track with my weight loss as well.
I'm sorry to hear about your troubles with fertility. That is a big fear of mine too, when the time comes, but b/c of my age. Just have to keep in mind, the good Lord has it all in hand.
So, welcome back, girl! Keep blogging & we'll keep encouraging each other!!!
    Blessings,
Robin at Band on the Run
