Hi Julie....good luck on the preop diet. I found that the worst part. Let us know how you get on.
Hi Julie - I found you through Amy as well, I have been banded for almost a year and am over half way through a pregnancy right now :-)I love my band - I am always surprised when I hear that people have had negative comments ie when you told some of your friends. To be honest I have had nothing but support and positive comments and I have told everyone that asks. The preop diet is hard but the best thing is you get amazing results which is a nice way to start your journey. You are going to look and feel amazing.I have only lost half the weight I need to so far but the 30kgs I have lost have made such a huge difference - I feel like a normal person - I don't stand out as much anymore :-) I will be following your journey - good luck :-)
Hi Julie,I signed up and am a follower now! :-) I saw the post at Amy's. I think you look lovely! When is your surgery, sounds like it is coming up fast! I am a newbie too, was banded here in the States on January 19th. So far, so good.I've recently started a blog too, come stop by sometime!--Ali
Hi Julie,I too found your blog through Amy's. Isn't she fantastic? My name is Debi and I hail from Northern California. It appears that I am your 20th Follower!! I was recently banded on November 19th, 09. I personally found the pre-op diet quite easy as well as the post-op recovery, compared to most. At least until I made a huge mistake about a week and a half after Surgery!! For me, the hardest part has been the Head Hunger and Bandster Hell!! I can't wait until I get some real Restriction!! Anyhoo, can't wait until you are banded to welcome you into our little world of bandster's!!If you have any questions or concerns, just ask in your postings or comments to us personally on our blogs, and we will always try to help you!!Good luck in your future marriage, you look fantastic, and the photo of you with your Fiance is adorable!
